For a little project of mine, I needed to convert a serial date number to day/month/year (DMY) and vise versa. The serial number came from date field in a converted Paradox database and seemed to be exactly the same as the serial date in Microsoft Excel, hence the article name. After some googling I learned that the Excel serial date is related to Julian date, and found a speedy algorithm to convert these numbers to DMY and vise versa....

It bring pleasure to present this DHTML Calendar Control with Time. I have tried to make it as user friendly as possible, so that the user does not struggle while entering the date in your webforms. The other interesting part is it also includes the the interface to capture time. I have tested it under IE 6, Netscape 8 and Opera 9, and it worked fine. Sorry I couldn't test it with other browser/ Versions....

XCalendar is a calendar class encapsulated by JavaScript code. You can use it to create one or more cool calendar(s) in a browser (IE/Firefox/Opera/Netscape, etc.). I have used some calendars written in JavaScript, most of all they are very complex, one or more separated CSS file(s) was bound with that calendar. When I need to customize the calendar, I have to read details of JavaScript code and CSS code, then modify them according to my ideas....
